G'day fragov, I was wondering if you had any helpful advice for me as I'm unsure how to post a new topic and it looks like your the man in the know.

I am coming to Ukraine and I want to teach English or sport and also do some volunteer work at the orphanages along with completing my advanced level to fluently speaking Russian but just wondering if it's easy to get a working visa whilst I'm there or if there are any loopholes you know about? I have heard that it can be as simple as going to the embassy in Krakou Poland.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Are you from the States? If so you can just stay here for three months without any visa and try to do stuff and see if you like it. Then the best thing is to get a student's visa - it the easiest stuff to do that requires minimum red tape. If you are interested I can advise you on how to get it done when you are here

    Hello there my new friend,
I will make this short and sweet for you. There is NO WAY for you to get a Ukrainian work visa.
Work visas are only an option for highly skilled people employed by foreign companies with offices in Ukraine.

I suggest you come to Ukraine as a tourist for 3 months and focus on your charity work and taking Russian classes. If you wish to stay longer in Ukraine then you must leave Ukraine before your 120 days in country has elasped. Visit Poland for a short time and then return back Ukraine again for another 120 days.
During your time in Ukraine, meet school directors, charities and offer to teach and work for free. Focus on your learning and experiences. The option of making spending money in Ukraine is just about zero.

Australia is about the only country that allows toursits to work during their travels.

Work double hard now and save, spend it all in Ukraine and then return back home to earn more.

Let me know if your goals are to stay longer than 6 months.

    Thanks Guys,

I think that I will be able to get support once I am there because I have many ideas for the development of life as a whole there and with hard work and effort I will be able to get the support needed to achieve this. I have no support here in Australia and can't understand why. I am my only motivation.

Have you guys ever heard of Cricket? It is a sport which I have played at a high level all my life and now there is a lot of money in it!!! Maybe I could petition to the sports ministry to teach and coach cricket in Ukraine!!!

My main objective in the end is to help with the orphanages....I have already done this in Russia and that's where I found my purpose in life.

YoTeach, I believe Cricket wouldn't be too popular in Poltava and Ukraine. And our sports ministry only waste money, so I don't think they will invest them in any sport.
