Well this has been the best summer for me as I love the heat. Job is a little down as the crops are wilting away.
However, going down to the river and having a drink sure breaks up my afternoon.
To bad the casino's are still closed as they had nice air conditioning.
What is everyone else doing to survive the heat wave?
I'm drinking water a lot. And I don't like air conditioners as I feel weird after go out from office.
can you recommend a lake or river to spend the day ?
DONETZ, something not close to the city. Psol river for example. 'cos Vorskla is too dirty.
Yeap, drinking more and more water and taking shower a few times a day would certainly help. And whatever people say, working with air conditioning is many times better.Originally Posted by johnwilder
Interesting to read all this afterwards. How we have sustained that summer, now I can`t understand... I remember the words one of the Ukrainian scientist, that in the future, Ukrainian land will be a desert. It was 1996. But that summer I suddenly had remembered his predictions and started to believe in it. The funniest, that this spring people started to order conditioners in advance. And summer started with rains and cold...
Anyway, Ukraine that time had better situation than Russia and especially - Moscow. That summer russian really WERE SURVIVING.
